Cheats Cherry Cheesecake

I have a huge sweet tooth and absolutely love desserts. One thing I don’t love as much is the guilt associated with eating calorific desserts more often than I should. So I found a way to make some non-guilty treats. This faux cheesecake recipe uses Birds Dream Topping which a cream substitute you can mix up instantly with skimmed milk.

These quick to make desserts also look so pretty they’re great as a dinner party cheat to impress guests!

Full recipe & more photo's after the jump.

How to DIY…
1. Mix a cheesecake base using low fat digestive biscuits (2 per person) and a teaspoon of low fat spread/ butter.
2. Press into individual glasses to serve
3. Mix up the Dream Topping using skimmed milk, alternatively vanilla angel delight also works here but it doesn’t have the same creamy texture.
4. Layer the Dream Topping on top of the biscuit base and top with chopped tinned black cherries.
5. Set in the fridge for about a few minutes and indulgence!
