Studded Ankle Straps
Studs are everywhere at the moment, I can’t get enough studded items in my wardrobe. Shoes especially- what I’d do to get my hands on Christian Louboutin’s rock chic-esque creations! But, no matter how much I love the Just Picks 100 Studded Patent Pumps, I can’t afford the £895 price tag.
To get my fashion fix, I’m transforming a pair of my own plain black pumps with removable studded ankle straps. They are the perfect accompaniment for toughening up my new Reiss summer dress.

How to DIY…
1. Using a thick black elastic, measure two ankle straps which are not too tight (the elastic is only so you can get your foot through it when putting the shoes on)
2. Stud each strap with evenly spaced, claw back pyramid studs
3. Use a needle & thread to sew each strap onto a loop
4. Attach each ankle strap to the back of your shoes- use just a few stitches to keep them in place while you’re wearing
5. Studded perfection- SJP would be proud
