DIY: Gold Trim Dish

Having a pretty dish on a console table or vanity is great for throwing bits and pieces of jewellery and make-up which would otherwise look messy.

I love this gold rimmed soup bowl I picked up in a vintage shop, however it's easy to make something similar with a gold Sharpie pen.

Use a plate or cardboard disk that fits just inside the bowl to create a straight line, then colour above with a gold Sharpie marker.
